About the Network Science Society
The Network Science Society (NSS) is an international, interdisciplinary society dedicated to advancing the science of networks and their applications.
Network science brings together ideas and methods from physics, mathematics, computer science, biology, the social sciences, engineering, and other fields to understand the structure, dynamics, and function of complex interconnected systems.

Our Mission
NSS supports the global network science community by fostering scientific exchange, collaboration, and the development of the field across disciplines, sectors, and regions.
We pursue this mission by:

Organizing and supporting conferences, colloquia, workshops, and other opportunities for scientific exchange;

Supporting students, early-career researchers, and the next generation of network scientists;

Recognizing outstanding contributions to network science through prizes and fellowships;

Promoting network science and representing the community within academia, industry, government, and the wider scientific community.

NSS provides a shared scientific community for researchers and practitioners working across the many domains in which networks shape complex systems.
